good location

I found the stay acceptable but had my share of trouble. I tried to enjoy the place, but the overall condition of the room made it difficult at times. I could see that the staff were nice enough. My solo trip was more about taking in the sights and relaxing, which I did eventually achieve. I felt a bit trapped in there, but I made it work.

Staying here with my adult kids was a blast! We loved exploring Shasta Lake for a day of waterskiing and swimming. The owner was super friendly and flexible, making our stay more enjoyable. The clean, comfortable rooms were the best we've encountered on our trip.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities nearby.

Recommend it for budget travelers

I stayed in a double room with two beds for 3 nights. The owner was really friendly and even let us check out late when we needed extra time because of car trouble. Plus, the shower pressure was just fantastic – felt like a real reward after a long day!

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for what you get, it’s still managable.
